Policies, Deposits & Cancellations

Here at the Daela we value the opinions and wants of each client. 

We are a safe place for everyone. 

We take time and careful detail to make sure every step of the way the client is at ease in any of our appointments. We do not move forward with any appointment until the client and artist are 100% happy with the pre-drawn, measured area of tattoo and color choice. 

A $50-250 deposit is required in order to book any appointment and confirmation is also required for every new appointment. Deposit ranges based on Appointment type and cost. All Cosmetic Tattoo appointments require a $250 NON REFUNDABLE deposit. 

This deposit is to ensure that you are serious about booking your appointment and your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your session day of appointment. All remaining payment is due the day of appointment. 

We require 48 hours notice if you decide to reschedule your appointment.  

You must reschedule within 3 weeks of your original appointment and are only allowed ONE reschedule before losing your deposit. If you reschedule for a 2nd time, you will lose your original deposit and will have to re-book with a new deposit. 

If you do not provide us 48 hour notice for a reschedule, you will forfeit your deposit and have to put down another new deposit to re-book. 

If you choose to cancel your appointment, you will automatically forfeit your deposit. The deposit is non-refundable.

You may however transfer the deposit to another service if it is 48 hours prior to original appointment. 

Please contact us if you are going to be late. Being more than 20 minutes late to your appointment may result in the forfeit of your deposit and the cancellation of your appointment. A new deposit will be required to re-book any appointment that was cancelled for lateness or if it is marked as a no-show. 

You will also forfeit your deposit if you are not in compliance with ALL  pre-care. Pre-care is not a suggestion but a requirement to be eligible to be tattooed.  

All Deposits are non-refundable. 

Healed results will vary with each individual client. Makeup may still be needed based on healing and service.  We have no control over what occurs during the healing process. Absolutely NO guarantee will be made and additional sessions (charged accordingly) may be required to obtain optimal results after your first included touch up. Additional charges will apply to 12-14 week touch-ups or annual appointments. If you do not schedule your included touch-up within the 8-12 week window, you will be subject to a $200 touch-up fee.

Please keep in mind that Cosmetic Tattoos will require annual to semi-annual maintenance at annual pricing which can be found on our services tab.

Each service may be priced differently depending on artist.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have had your eyebrows previously tattooed and are interested in a cover-up/re-work, you MUST email us a clear photo PRIOR to booking your appointment. We cannot guarantee results for cases such as these and we must approve that your eyebrows are workable. In some cases where the previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or large, tattoo removal will be highly recommended before we begin the cover-up/re-work. Previously tattooed areas and cover-ups will almost always require additional appointments for best results and will be charged as an entirely new appointment at new appointment pricing. We do not “touch up” other artists work from outside the studio. This procedure is actually more work for us and we will not do that for less than new appointment rate. 

We do not tattoo pregnant or breastfeeding women. Even if you want to Pump and Dump, we cannot guarantee good healing and do not allow that. 

If you wish to switch artists for an annual appointment, you are welcome to do so. However, we do not allow for artist switches during the middle of a new appointment and touch up. Whomever you start with, will be the one to do your touch up unless approved by the manager. 

Tooth Whitening and Teeth Gems: We cannot guarantee Whitening shades for each individual as each person starts from a different place and has different anatomy and coloring. You may not get more than one session within 6 months. No refunds are given after services are preformed.

Tooth Gems are guaranteed for 3 weeks of initial appointment. Gold piece replacement will be required at cost of the gold. Stone replacement will be free. Please keep in mind that we will only guarantee this once per person. Some individuals are not good candidates and will lose jewelry faster than others based on lifestyle, tooth shape and cleanliness. No refunds will be given after procedure. We cannot legally remove any tooth gem, you will need to see a dentist.

Although we give our best efforts to provide you with 5-star quality service, many factors can result in a less than desired outcome as each client will heal differently. It is crucial that you follow before and after-care instructions.

All appointments and deposits are non-transferable. If you choose to switch your appointment to another artist, you must cancel your first appointment and attempt to re-book.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect your name, address, contact information and drivers license for proof of age (all clients must be over 18 to receive a tattoo.)

Before & After Pictures

We take before & after pictures of all clients. From time to time, we post some of these pictures on our social media and website galleries.  We never attach our customer names to the photos. Our clients sign allowing us to post pictures, if a client objects, then we will not post the pictures!

Who we share your data with

Your data is securely stored in our CRM tool. We don’t share it with anyone.

How long we retain your data

We retain our client contact data forever.  A client can ask to be removed from our system, which we will do upon request.
