- Scar and Stretch Mark Camouflage are Paramedical tattoos that use flesh toned inks to match the surrounding skin. These include one 6-12 week touchup.
- A Serum Treatment is a specialized microneedling treatment, with a Scar Healing Serum, for those who have a healed scar that needs help with texture or color and is not a good candidate for Scar Camouflage. This treatment can also be used to treat Stretch Marks. This treatment does not use ink.
- Serum Treatment for Scars and Stretch Marks include a second session after 6-8 weeks. Additional sessions may be requested.
- A Serum Treatment series for Scar Camouflage also includes premium aftercare specially formulated for scar restructuring and recovery.

What is scar revision?

- The process utilizes a vitamin serum (without pigment or colors) and allows us to use a tattoo machine to micro-needle the serum into scars or stretch marks, reducing their appearance.
What is Radiation Marker Camouflage?
- Radiation markers are placed on the body near the area being treated by radiation. Sometimes these markers are small tattoos.
- We combine micropigmentation with tattoo ink to disguise your radiation markers with flesh-pigment ink.
- The end result is a dot or mark that looks like a small moles or freckle. This camouflage tattoo can be done on any part of your body.
Can you tattoo stretch marks?
Minimize Stretch Marks
- The process works by applying the vitamin serum to the scar or stretch mark while lightly needling the skin with a tattoo machine. Together, the serum and needling jumpstart the body's natural healing process, leading to less noticeable scars and stretch marks.
- The best candidates: Stretch marks can be tattooed if they are white and the surrounding skin is at least two shades darker than the stretch mark itself.

How does a consult work for scar treatments?
Consultations are important.
We can consult via email or text with photos provided by you.
- All scar treatment appointments must have a prior consult, via email, with photos.
- Not all scars can be treated with tattoo camouflage.
- Most treatments involve multiple sessions. A consult allows us to accurately quote you a price for your treatment series.
How do I know if you can perform scar camouflage on my scar?
Your scar needs heal for at least one year. Not all scars can be camouflaged. Please email photos to us for consultation and pricing.
Does scar camouflage hurt?
The process involves minimal pain.
Scar tissue does not usually have the same amount of feeling as healthy tissue.
- The camouflage tattooing process is typically pain free, however, we are happy to use topical numbing to relieve pain if needed!
Can you tattoo self-inflicted scarring?
Some of them, yes.
We understand the importance of minimizing self-harm scars.
- If the scars are lighter in color than the surrounding skin, then we can use scar camouflage tattoo to minimize the appearance of the scars.
Can you tattoo facial tissue and lips?
Yes!
This is actually the easiest place for scar camouflage.
- We also offer velvet lip tattooing. If you have a scar that extends through your lips onto your skin, we can do the lip blush tattoo in conjunction with scar camouflage on the outside of the lip.
What the difference between Scar Serum treatment and Scar Camouflage tattoo?
- Scar Serum Treatment or Scar Revision Treatment is a micro-needling treatment that uses a rotary tattoo machine to cause controlled trauma to the scar tissue.
- This treatment triggers the body to jumpstart the healing process. This method does not use ink.
- Scar Camouflage Tattoo uses skin tone ink which camouflages the scar to match the surrounding skin tone.
Before Care: Scar & Stretchmark Revision
Preparing for your appointment is as important as following aftercare instructions.
Here are some things you need to know!
- Before your appointment, buy a cold press to use for your aftercare healing.
- No sauna or tanning 1 week prior
- No blood thinners or pain killers 1 week prior
- No caffeine 24 hours before your appointment
- No alcohol 24 hours before your appointment
- Shower, clean the area being treated.
- Do not put any oils, lotions, or creams on the area being treated on the day of your appointment.
- Wear loose fitting clothing to your appointment.
- Eat before your appointment to promote good feelings and help with your pain threshold.
Not following these guidelines may result in the need to reschedule your appointment!
After Care: Scar & Stretch Mark Revision
Follow the aftercare instructions and use the aftercare products recommended or provided to you by your artist.
Wear loose fitting clothing.
Apply a cold compress over the top of your clothing on the treated area every 2-4 hours for 10 minutes for the first 2 days to help with swelling and faster healing times.
Wash your hands first! To keep the area clean: Gently wash with a mild unscented cleanser.
For at least 5 days avoid vigorous exercise that may cause excessive sweating, and hot environments like saunas/hot tubs/pools or hot showers/baths.
Do not apply makeup or skincare products on the treated area for 2 weeks.
DO NOT PICK OR DISTURB THE TREATED AREAS. Picking can cause scarring, extended healing times and undesirable results.
Refrain from sun exposure and always use an SPF 40 or higher on the treated area when exposed to the sun.
Do not worry about the area appearing darker and bolder, it will soften and lighten.
Refrain from microdermabrasion and strong chemical peels in the treated area until completely healed and you have completed all treatments.
Each client’s skin will respond differently, both in the length of time it takes to heal, and the number of sessions needed for your desired results. This information acts as a guideline only, and we cannot guarantee your results. Every client's treatment plan is unique to their treatment, skin trauma and health history.
