Lina uses an original single needle technique to implement the perfect blushed color into the lips with little pain and no downtime.

Lina has internationally trained and has formed her own unique and successful lip blush technique. Lina is a leader in the industry for lip blush tattoo, dark lip neutralization, men’s lips, color theory and facial scarring.

Lina uses top-of-the-line products and tools, and proudly create highly realistic and natural results.

Velvet Lip Blush Training Overview & Class Schedule

Below is a general overview of our in-depth training. Course includes a complete, detailed training manual by Lina Anderson.

Group 111

Day 1: Theory, sanitization, color, pigments. Live demo.

Velvet Lip Blush technique and color theory presentation with informational slides, images and booklets that include all aspects of pigment, skin tones, color-matching and technical tips & tricks. Practice shape sketching and pencil shading. Lina will live demo a full lip appointment.

Group 132

Day 2: Drawing, stretch, technique, machine work and your own live model.

Learn how to handle your machine and work in the perfect skin depth. Students will practice for hours on fake skin and take an entire model appointment from start to finish to perfect their technique. Certificate will be awarded upon completion of the day.

Training FAQs

We require a $1000 deposit for a course. Upon receipt of the deposit, you are given instant access to the online training portion of the class. Because the deposit grants you access to the online training, it is not refundable. However, you can re-schedule for a future training!

You will need an up-to-date blood borne pathogen certificate and a valid state ID.  Law governing cosmetic tattoo varies from state to state. It is your responsibility to make sure you know, understand, and follow your state guidelines.

You are not allowed to tattoo in your state without a valid tattoo license and insurance. Daela Cosmetic Tattoo does not provide either of these items. Our courses do count as continued education.

You are provided a Daela Tattoo machine by Biomaser with cartridges in 1RL and 3RL, a permablend kit of lip colors, online training login for the lips online course, mapping tools and sharpener, compact powder, other goodies, full presentation manual (100+ pages hand written by Daela Co-Owner Lina Anderson, list of everything you need to get started and where to order it, model photos and video for marketing and Daela certificate.
